About me
My name is Anton. I provide tutoring and consulting services in the field of statistics. My education includes a Master of Business Administration (MBA) in Financial Services, an honours Master's Degree in Applied Mathematics and a Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science. I have many years of business experience in helping people understand and apply statistical concepts. One of my major strengths is my ability to explain complex concepts in a simple and understandable manner.

In general, I provide services to three main groups of clients:
1) Full-time and part-time students taking statistics course at the university or college level as part of their degree programs. Statistics is typically a mandatory course in social sciences, humanities, psychology, sociology, business, medicine, biology, marketing, and many other majors.
2) Researchers planning or conducting a research study, choosing a research approach/methodology, or writing a journal article. Master's and Doctoral students are typically required to conduct a research study and perform statistical analysis of results to support their research questions.
3) The most common application of statistics in the business world is marketing research (e.g. analysis of survey results) and creating models for decision-making support and prediction (e.g. regression analysis). Often companies can use external expertise in survey design, statistical concepts, or using specialized statistical packages to perform data analysis for business purposes.
I typically cover the following statistical concepts: descriptive statistics, probability, correlation, sampling, hypothesis testing, statistical inference, experimental design, ANOVA, regressions, and many others.
